It's Participation TIME

Today is the beginning of The Southern Belle Participation Week.

I want to get to know YOU better. Please read all the questions, and answer as many of them as you want in the comments. HTML is allowed if you would like to bold your answers or whatever. There are refreshments such as fried chicken, watermelon, and kool-aid on the table over there, so help yourself. Thanks for playing!

*White folks to feel free to answer questions 1-4.

1. Have you ever had someone of the opposite race use a racial slur against you to your face, or behind your back? If so, how did it make you feel and how did you react?

2. Name 5 things that piss you off more than anything else:

3. Who are you voting for and why?

4. Have you ever bitch-slapped anyone and why?

5. Who do you believe is a bigger iconic embarrassment to the Black Community: Lil Kim, Michael Jackson, Condoleeza Rice, The Snipers, R. Kelly, Kobe Bryant, or Mo'nique from The Parkers? And why?

6. What kinds of things, do you think, will strengthen the black community?

1. Have you ever had someone of the opposite race use a racial slur against you to your face, or behind your back? If so, how did it make you feel and how did you react? Yes, I have. It made me feel sad, angry, confused, and disappointed. It's hard to explain how you feel when something like that happens to you, there are so many feelings involved. The first time it happened I didn't know what "biner" meant or that it was a racial slur until I asked my oldest brother. The second time I heard that I spoke up and end up saying more than I should of. However, if you thing about it, when someone says something like that is because a: the want to hurt you. b: they have no idea what they're doing (they’re ignorant), they have never been exposed to another culture. So it’s best to ignore people like that. They’re just haters.

2. Name 5 things that piss you off more than anything else: getting up early, injustice, not working out, racism, going shopping and buy nothing, and fleas on my dog.

3. Who are you voting for and why? Kerry because there is no one else I would vote for. He has been very clear about what he would do if he becomes the president of the US. He doesn't seem like the type of guy that would go to war for a stupid reason nor go on vacation trips all the time while there is a war going on or the economy is going bad. He (I think) has no personal gain by becoming the president (petroleum companies, foreign relations). However; he could take the ketchup away, and that I could not live without.

4. Have you ever bitch-slapped anyone and why? I shouldn’t answer this question. But I will. Hmmmmm, no, I don't think so. I just haven't had the opportunity to go through that enjoyful experience.

5. Who do you believe is a bigger iconic embarrassment to the Black Community: Lil Kim, Michael Jackson, Condoleeza Rice, The Snipers, R. Kelly, Kobe Bryant, or Mo'nique from The Parkers? And why? Don't know, perhaps Michael Jackson; however, he seems like he need mental health. He has issues. For real. Not kidding. But again, maybe the people that trust him with their kids have bigger issues than him. They all need to seek mental health.

6. What kinds of things, do you think, will strengthen the black community? I think the black community is very strong but of course just like any other community it can be stronger. Perhaps the black community would benefit with more black african merican professionals finishing higher education, graduating from colleges and universities, more unity, more respect towards woman, children and friends, and love, lots of love between one another.
But what do you think Ms. T
